I am an artist that lives in Penryn Cornwall. I work on solo projects and collaborate often with artists, musicians, scientists, theatre makers, printers and writers. My main collaborative project is ‘Hope & Anchor’.
I make prints on found materials and build assemblages from curious objects and prints.
I am currently devising a performance with a mechanically operated shadow box based on a story about a feral child and her wild adventures. I aim to tour this solo to rural venues and as a busking project. The shadow box is a contraption inspired by fantascopes and magic lanterns and plays music while illuminating a scroll of winding lino prints that illustrates the story as a troubadour character narrates. The box will be built so it can be carried like a rucksack.
