At the Alchemy Room we believe everyone has a creative side and we would like to invite you to come and make a small piece of art of your choice known as an ATC or artist trading card.
Leave it with us and take away one made by another ‘artist’.
ATC are traditionally swapped within the artistic community similarly to the way business cards are swapped. They are always handmade and measure 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 – the size of a standard playing card, which is often used as the backing.
On Saturday between 11am – 4pm the Alchemy room will open for you to come along to make and trade a card. Art & collage supplies are all provided and it’s Free.
Alternatively if you’d like to make any at home please feel free to bring them along for the swap too.
Please make sure they are the correct size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) on a card substrate or adhered to an old playing card.
Don’t want to make one? No problem just come along and admire the handiwork of others.
